Description:

Coriander is an herb used as spice and as a natural remedy due to the numerous beneficial properties for our health. According to historical records, the first uses of coriander as a medicinal herb refer to the sixteenth century, when it was applied topically to cure mycoses.

The coriander came to the Americas along with the settlers and became popular as an ingredient for the seasoning of food because of its taste and aroma. Both its leaves and seeds are used, but this herb should not be confused with parsley.

With diuretic, stimulating and anti-inflammatory properties, tea can be used to treat stomach and bowel problems, as well as help control flatulence.
