Description:

Scientific name Bauhinia foliate, the plant is native to southern Brazil, also found in Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay. With up to 6 meters in height, its leaves can reach 15 cm in length and 14 in width, and its shape is rounded.

Health benefits:

The properties of the paw include its antioxidant action, analgesic, diuretic, laxative, purgative and vermifuge. In addition, studies in laboratory mice indicate that it may have a hypoglycemic action and may be useful in the control of type 2 diabetes and may prevent tumor growth and proliferation in these animals, but these alleged benefits of the yet-to-be- is not proven in humans.
