Originally from the Mediterranean region, rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis L.) is widely used in home medicine and is considered a great herbal remedy, one of the most complete in terms of health benefits. It is also known by other names such as rosemary, scent rosemary and rosemary. In addition to the aforementioned denominations, rosemary is also called "herb of joy", due to the essential oils present in its composition, which favor the production of neurotransmitters responsible for well-being.

Contraindications:

At high doses, rosemary can cause gastrointestinal irritation and pain in the kidneys. Another recommendation is to avoid its use at night time as it can impair sleep. This plant is contraindicated in cases of pregnancy, gastroenteritis, epilepsy and prostate problems.
